What I learned about Spock in this episode is Fully Human Spock has the personality of, basically, Chris Farley from “Tommy Boy.” That would make the other guy from “Tommy Boy” Vulcan Spock. David Spade. Which weirdly works because SNW has if nothing else almost the same level of shenanigans and heart.
The Spock centric episodes between him, T’Pring and Nurse Chappel are, basically, screwball comedies. Not complaining but I am very surprised at how much I’ve loved them and how well, IMO, all of these elements crow-barred in actually work in coloring in long canon.
As a result it actually does make me reconsider everything I think I know about, no argument is possible, the GOAT Star Trek character, Mr f’ing Spock.
Hope you are well, clever person
I think they’re going to get darker with the Spock, T’Pring, Chapel triangle going forward. They’ll have to if they want to get the characters to where they are in TOS.
